After a year of amazing success the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter’s Challenge Walk MS will be partnering with the Maryland Chapter again in 2014 for the Chesapeake Challenge offering the Philadelphia Freedom Pass.
Join us September 6 and 7 for the Chesapeake Challenge, an inspirational journey exploring 30 miles of Maryland’s scenic Chesapeake Bay.
The weekend begins on Saturday with a stroll through the historic Kent Narrows allowing walkers the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views at each rest stop along the 20 mile route. The day is then capped with a celebration of the day’s accomplishments including a candlelight ceremony where we celebrate and embrace those who are living with MS.
On Sunday the adventure continues through Downtown Easton. See beautiful trails and historic sites and be greeted by friends and family as you complete the last 10 miles of your Challenge Walk journey.
With all that walking you are sure to build up an appetite! Not to worry, this event is stocked with themed rest stops to help you fuel up in addition to scrumptious meals donated by local businesses and caterers.
